The Team

There are teams. Then there are real teams — groups of people who have known and worked with each other happily & effectively for many years, by choice!

While this is very nice (although we have been known occasionally after a particularly strenuous deadline, to partake in a light bickering session) there are real benefits for you. Apart from the (very important) guarantee of continuity, we know how we all work, how we all think and know how to tap into each others strengths and weaknesses to benefit you our customers.

It’s so evident as a team, you all believe in and strive for exactly the same goals and absolutely love what you do. As a customer, it’s impossible not to buy into that belief.

John

The founder of Most Wanted UK Ltd is known for being grumpy in the mornings until after his first cup of strong white coffee. A 15 year industry veteran, John loved managing the wines and spirits isle at Tesco as a teenager, but wanted more. Starting his career in advertising at Johnston Press then completed a short stint developing a local paper before moving to Hallam FM. After radio into directories with Kingston Communications and soon after spent time flitting to and from the Isle of Man looking after the Manx Telecom Directory –invoking much jealousy from his sister as he got to see the TT from the inside. After this a brief market research project along with Coral for a company studying Doncaster’s’ eligibility for its base, submitting a 180 page document saved the company fortunes on discoveries made. From here went on to British Telecom to launch advertising in the phone Book UK wide. John is famous for having read just about every book on marketing ever written and being exceptionally skilled in ad design and layout. He is also for his exceptional appetite, which even the largest Desperate Dan pie can satisfy. John enjoys the gym and any kind of social get together-invited or not and does a mean back flip after a few fruit juices.

Coral

The manic one, always running around seemingly in a panic –but everything is usually completely under control. Joined brother John as co director in the venture, is responsible for the writing and keeps getting told off by readers who disagree that fish can’t drown and state she will kill hedgehogs if she isn’t clear on what to feed them. Coral has a bank of customers who are now mostly friends due to her unparalleled customer service ethic –and exceptional coffee drinking skills. Racking up 15 years in the business starting at Johnston press alongside John, Coral won Sales Person of the Year before moving to BT as part of the team that re-launched The Phone Book throughout the UK, again working alongside John and Gavin. Whilst at BT the trophy cupboard filled further with awards in Customer Service and Sales as well as Key Account of the Year and multiple management awards. Continuing the winning team combination working with John to developing a local paper and with again on the market research project above. Coral loves her 2 dogs Rufus and Martha, is a biker chick and loves anything to do with speed –especially F1. A semi-trained mezzo Soprano, Coral has a burning ambition to be on stage at some time in the future if she can ever get over needing eight vodkas to sing in public.

Gavin

Joined 6 months in after working alongside John and Coral for years as part of launch team at BT. Being a Maccam Gav is a die-hard Sunderland fan and biker –looks like he could be our debt collector but loves each and every one of his customers who all love him back. A black belt in Tae Kwon Do, Gav runs his own weekend class in Wakefield. Gav Has worked in and loved sales and advertising for over 15 years making an impression everywhere he’s been winning top sales awards for Perrys Citroen, Yorkshire Post and Regional Independent Newspaper Group before moving on to running teams at BT. The older yet not wiser member of the team Gav is great at drinking JD without falling down, makes a good coffee and a wicked chilli king prawns.

James

The latest addition to the team but feels like we’ve known him forever grabbing him after successfully running his own leisure marketing company James knows how to take a company to market. James has a passion for a la carte cooking for the gang at ‘the manor’ and mysteriously ends up waking up on roundabouts after nights out. Not good at drinking JD without falling over –which never ceases to entertain his colleagues, friends and family and not good at making coffee. James is an avid fitness freak to the point of obsession and is running 2010 London marathon for Blue Bell Wood.
